Grosvenor Casino Coventry Poker Online

Online Poker Through the Grosvenor Platform

Our online poker offer is part of the national Grosvenor Poker platform, which you reach at grosvenorcasinos.com. From anywhere in the UK, you can sit in cash games or jump into tournaments on desktop or mobile, without having to visit the Coventry casino in person. The whole platform is operated under a UK Gambling Commission licence, account number 57924, and that licence covers all Great Britain customers using it. You must be at least 18 to play - age checks take place during registration and also when you come through the venue door.

The online poker room is directly linked to the live poker room in Coventry. Cash tables run at a mix of stakes, tournament series appear on the schedule on a regular basis, and you can win your way online into the big live festivals held at the arena - including Goliath and Behemoth. So this is not just an online room sitting on its own, it is a route into the live scene for anyone who wants that progression.

Getting Registered

Setting up an account is usually quick, only a few minutes if you have your details ready. The familiar UK-regulated checks are in place and you will need to complete identity verification before any real-money play.

1. Go to grosvenorcasinos.com and open the poker section from the main navigation.
2. On the poker landing page, select the sign-up option.
3. Type in your full name, date of birth, home address and basic contact details.
4. Choose a username and create a secure password.
5. If KYC prompts appear, upload or submit the requested identity documents - this is a requirement under UKGC regulations.
6. After your account is verified, move to the cashier area to make your first deposit.
7. Pick one of the payment methods offered and enter the deposit amount you want.
8. Confirm the payment, then wait a short moment while your balance appears in the poker lobby.
9. Open the poker lobby itself, sort or filter by game format or stake, then select a table or register into a tournament.

We accept VISA, MasterCard, Skrill, Maestro, Switch and Solo for funding your account. Withdrawal timings differ depending on what you use: VISA payouts typically arrive in around 1-5 days, MasterCard in roughly 1-3 days, Skrill tends to be 1-2 days, while Switch, Solo and Maestro withdrawals usually fall in the 1-7 day window. For UK-based players, every transaction is processed in GBP.

A small practical reminder that helps on any platform: check the current withdrawal processing times well before you are planning to cash out. Methods that appear identical when you deposit can behave quite differently when you send money back out.

What You Can Actually Play

Online cash game stakes begin at lower blind levels and then step up through bigger games. In the Coventry live poker room, cash game blinds usually range from £0.25/£0.50 up to £5/£10, depending on demand on the day and how the schedule looks. Tournament buy-ins on site typically go from £25 up to £250 for the regular events. For major festival flights such as Goliath, buy-ins can climb to around £3,000.

The Two Apps

There are two separate mobile apps that sit around the Grosvenor Casino Coventry poker online experience. Both are released by Grosvenor Casinos Limited and can be downloaded from Google Play on Android devices.

Grosvenor Poker: Online Games is our app for real-money poker on your phone or tablet. Through it you can reach the main online poker lobby, see the cash tables, register into tournaments, manage your balance and so on. Support queries for this app are handled by email at [email protected].

Grosvenor Poker Live is built for the live venue environment, not online tables. It lets you view and join waiting lists for Coventry and other Grosvenor poker rooms, register for live tournaments including Goliath, and keep an eye on upcoming live schedules. For help with this app, the support address is [email protected].

If you want to secure a seat in a live cash game at Coventry using the app, the flow typically looks like this:

1. Download Grosvenor Poker Live from Google Play.
2. Log in using your existing Grosvenor Casinos online account details.
3. From the casino list, choose Coventry as your venue.
4. Check the current live cash game tables and the stakes that are running.
5. Add your name onto the waiting list for the stake level that suits you.
6. Wait for the notification that tells you a seat is available.
7. Head over to the casino and confirm your seat with the team at the poker desk.
8. Bring valid ID if it is requested - admission remains strictly 18+ only.

Coventry - The Live Venue

Grosvenor Casino Coventry is located inside the Coventry Building Society Arena - previously known as the Ricoh Arena - on Phoenix Way, Coventry CV6 6GE. If you want to call the venue, the direct number is 02476 684747. Customer parking is available and validated on site, with access from the A444.

The poker room here is one of the larger rooms in the UK and can host up to 120 players at full capacity. Daily tournaments and cash games run across both Texas Hold’em and Omaha formats. A staple on the schedule is the Monday Megastack, which is a £50 re-entry Hold’em event starting with a 55,000 chip stack. Opening hours for poker are extended on weekdays, often from midday right through to 6am, and round-the-clock across the weekend, although exact times can change with the schedule.

Away from poker tables, the main casino floor offers roulette, blackjack, slots and electronic gaming terminals. There are live dealer tables in operation next to the poker area, and the venue also has bar service and entertainment facilities available to customers.

Goliath and the Festival Calendar

Coventry is home to Goliath, billed as the largest live poker tournament held outside Las Vegas. The festival usually runs once a year over roughly 11 days and fits in around 25 different tournaments, along with cash games that run throughout the series. The projected prize pool across the main Goliath events comes in at around £2 million.

Behemoth is a separate large-scale festival also staged at Coventry and tied into our broader promotional calendar. Both Goliath and Behemoth sit under the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour umbrella, which started in 2007 and focuses mainly on Texas Hold’em. The GUKPT has its own dedicated website at gukpt.com.

Online satellites on the Grosvenor Poker platform are the main way to secure seats in Goliath and in GUKPT Coventry events. That is the clearest transactional link between your online account and the live festival floor - qualify from your sofa, then take your seat at the arena.

Support and Responsible Gambling

If you ever need support around gambling safely, GambleAware provides free help at gambleaware.org and via its helpline on 0808 8020 133. All players using our services must be 18 or over. It is generally better to set these up early, as a basic framework, rather than only thinking about them after something has gone wrong.
